A One-Person Research House

DOCTA IGNORANTIA is run by a single individual investor: the deep-dive research, the portfolios and the risk quantification are all done by the same person. There are no sales targets and no investment-banking arm to please — which means ratings answer to evidence alone.

The writing borrows the formal discipline of sell-side research — ratings, target prices, sources, disclaimers — but the stance is buy-side: behind every call there is a real-money position, or an explicit statement that there is none.

• Conclusions on the cover, evidence in the body; every key assumption stated and falsifiable.
• Valuation anchor and margin-of-safety floor side by side: multiples set the price, liquidation math only sets the floor.
• Portfolio data includes costs and is backtestable; risk is presented as CVaR and stress tests, not Sharpe alone.
• Nothing here is investment advice; no client money is managed; no fee is charged for any recommendation.
